The Red Stars held the number one team to a 0-0 tie, until Red Stars forward Ella Masar slotted a ball in front of the goal where teammate Cristiane then nailed it into the back of the net. Then, in the last minute of regulation, Camile Abily hit a great volley into the net after the ball deflected off a few players in the box to tie up the game. The final score was 1-1.
