didnt this happen this last fall/winter with european clubs losing players in the middle of the knock out stages???

idk if anyone else watches mls, but this happens almost all the time over there, and thats why you have to have good feeder teams, so you can just call up someone if you need a position filled.

Mona: sad but true about asante. However, SBFC has to make it to the playoffs first, and that seems to be a tall order.

Espihir: go Dland! Can't remember the last time they lost the Euros...

not having asante = death.

our deffense is going to die.
and shes our only european player (right?) <--referring to sbfc.

atleast we wont loose too much, but not having asante is terrible

Not really worried....plenty of good players to take their place!! Internationals happening is just part and parcel of soccer...coaches and players will deal with it... and it will be an interesting playoff...GO SOL!!!!

DC DC n MB: hahhaaa.

Germany's gonna take it anyway, everyone can just stay here and finish the season out ;)

I think the season should be longer and should start earlier.

Perhaps England and France can leave their players here, since these national teams won't win the Euros anyway...

Seems as if WPS could have done something to avoid this, like compressing the schedule a bit more. It would have helped if there had been an even number of teams so nobody had to take a bye week.
