Women's Professional Soccer

Tonight as I walked into a local restaurant called Fiesta Jalapeno (for those of you who need to work on their spanish that's Party Pepper) I saw some one who looked identical to Marta (if you don't know who that is by now, we've got bigger problems). To add to the fact that she not only looked like her, on the flat screens the Brazilian Men's National Team was playing. I thought that was a little strange, I assume an employee must have recorded it.

Unfortunately, not everyone can live in a fatansy world. First of all, I knew Marta is Brazilian , not Spanish and the waitress who looked like her spoke what I think was Spanish. Then I thought if this was really Marta, the soccer/football superstar, why would she be a server at a local restaurant.

I think people see what they want to see in others and life in general. What's worse is when you think you see some one you know, wave and shout their name. Then after possibly embarassing yourself and the other person staring at you like you're insane or something, it turns out that it isn't who you thought it was.

Maybe this only happens to a select few of us (me included, what a shocker). Who have you "seen" before?

i think that everyone should just learn one language, then we wouldn't have these problems. everyone would be on the same page, but why would we make it that simple, hahaha
