Keeping WPS Alive In The Off-Season

How's everyone doing during the off season? Have you found something to do with all you free time on the weekends?[guess that pertains more to season ticket holders] Have you found yourself driving to a family members house, that happens to be the same way to your home field, checked the time and announced to the entire car of people "we need to drive faster or we are never going to get to the game on time"? I think I may be the only one for that one :)

Around here, theres been nothing exciting to blog about. The school year started back in August, probably the roughest start yet as one of my teachers/ my back-up goalie's[thats sounds horrible but you know what i mean] dad passed away. That was a rough week but the school is back up and going, remembering The Renaissance Man who died on a historic day [9-11-09].

On a happier note, homecoming has come and gone. JUNIOR GIRLS won powderpuff! The seniors "slogan" was "bow down" well we now tell them to :) The week was amazing, and the dance couldnt have been better. Aside from the boy drama - my twitter followers are probably sick of reading about it - HC 2009 was a blast!

On a soccer note - Im taking a break right now with concussion #3! I guess blacking out for 12 minutes after colliding with a girl when I slide out in my box for a ball is my sign to take a break. It hasnt been easy, but I have a weight lifting class at school, so im lifting and running. cant wait for winter though when i can get back out there! In the mean time I think I may hit up a CRS camp!!!!! :)

Cristiane needs to be back with CRS, time to settle on that contract :)
Julianne Sitch needs to get picked up somewhere!
Nikki, were going to miss you!!!
Carli Lloyd I will miss, but I wish we would have seen more from her this season....with the injuries though understandable performance.
Mitts - ??? i dont know LOVE her on the USWNT but i dont know where she should go?? Atlanta maybe?? hmmm never really thought about it!
