US wins against Japan!

They won 1-0 with an early 27th minute goal from Carli Lloyd!! The US can win the Olympics i believe, they face New Zealand on the 12th and I think we can win against them, and then advance to the quarter finals! Its going to get tougher and I think the US is going to have to step it up to win Gold, but I know they will because they want to make there country proud!

I would have liked the team to be more consistant in the game today, it seemed like in second half they got a little sloppy because they were up, Japan was getting in our box a little too much at the very end of the game, and if we advance and play teams like Brazil or Germany, we CAN NOT do that, but I think they will review the game and go over what needs to be done in order to win the Olympics, I have faith in both the team and Pia.

I was a little upset that A-Rod missed her 3 great chances, but she still had a great game, and I was very impressed with the way Heather Mitts played today, she got her self up and almost scored! Way to go Mitts! I was kind of upset about Hucles playing up as a forward, i think being a midfielder suites her better, and I think Kai should have played up with Rodriguez, because they both compliment each other on different areas of how they play but we still won and thats all that matters! I was also very impressed with Carli today she kept the midfield organized and under control better this game and I was also impressed with Boxx she had some great tackles and created some great plays! I was also very impressed with Tobin today! I thought she did great! I'm really starting to become a fan of hers!

Well thats all for now! We prevailed, like i knew we would! The US can do this! I know it! There next game is at 7:45 (ET) against New Zealand on August 12th on msNBC! GO USA!!
