Women's Professional Soccer

The WPS General Draft on Monday, Oct. 6 will consist of four rounds of selections of international and domestic players for all seven WPS teams. The WPS General Draft order was conducted by lottery and is as follows:

Round One
1. Washington Freedom
2. Bay Area
3. Washington Freedom (via trade with St. Louis on Sept. 24)
4. Boston Breakers
5. Los Angeles
6. Chicago Red Stars
7. Sky Blue FC

Round Two
8. Sky Blue FC
9. Chicago Red Stars
10. Los Angeles
11. Boston Breakers
12. Los Angeles (via trade with St. Louis on Sept. 24)
13. Bay Area
14. St. Louis (via trade with the Washington Freedom on Sept. 24)

Round Three
15. St. Louis (via trade with the Washington Freedom on Sept. 24)
16. Bay Area
17. Washington Freedom (via trade with St. Louis on Sept. 24)
18. Boston Breakers
19. Los Angeles
20. Chicago Red Stars
21. Sky Blue FC

Round Four
22. Sky Blue FC
23. Chicago Red Stars
24. St. Louis (via trade with Los Angeles on Sept. 24)
25. Boston Breakers
26. St. Louis

Ah. St. Louis isn't even in the first round of drafts and doesn't pick till the end of the second round. I guess this is what we get for trading.
