Come watch the best women soccer players in the world in the new WPS Women's Professional Soccer Game of the Week this Sunday, 4/19. Arrive around 2:30 at the Mad Dog in the Fog, 530 Haight Street, just west of Fillmore in Lower Haight. Haight and Fillmore buses go right to this location. Get in on a pitcher, and settle in to watch Sky Blue (NY, NJ) with Heather O'Reilly and Natasha Kai (it's a track meet up front) vs. Chicago Red Stars (Lindsay Tarpley). Game is live 3-5 pm.
Our hope is to do this every week during season, except when there is a home game down in Santa Clara. If Sat home game, would still watch Sunday TV game.
Lost, confused, don't know what to expect, never been to watch a women's sports event at this level? Call Tim Wason on cell, 415-823-2276.
Carve out a little time Sunday and come and watch the best in the world play The Beautiful Game.
I agree excellent goalie in Barnie, Defense is covered by one of the best defender in the country (my niece :),and midfield is excellent Leslie Osborne is incredible.
