It's actually kinda tough for me to decide on sides on this one. While I think having the US women take the Gold would be åwesome and so important to the game, to the newly forming WPS league, I think the Brazilian women need it just a wee bit more, only because it's such a male dominated society. Players like Marta, so BRILLIANT and TALENT, are up against so much for the mere fact that they're women in a country that expects different things from them. I'm in my heart of heart USA all the way, but I just need to root for the green and yellow this time 'round, to advance women's soccer in a country that pooh poohs women doing anything other than what is considered proper and acceptable.
