Something else Sky Blue got away with

They had 12 on the field:

Matches not "ruined" by Kari Seitz

I just wanted to note that Seitz refereed a few other matches this season without a whole lot of complaints:

04/11 Gold Pride @ Sky Blue
04/18 Breakers @ Freedom
05/02 Sol @ Breakers
05/16 Gold Pride @ Red Stars
05/30 Athletica @ Sol
06/20 Freedom @ Athletica
07/05 Sol @ Freedom
07/19 Breakers @ Gold Pride

Basically, one out of every six WPS regular-season matches (1080 minutes), and… Continue

I read your comment on nj.com, do you have any more info on dorini's firing? I'm really amazed at the lack of press and information released from wps and sbfc. I also do not believe one word released from Hoff's mouth.

I agree that the Player of the week is usually a scorer, but Marta and Camile are both at the top of their chart. So I will just quote JR here
"Karina definitely has a very good chance to get it this week. If she had not given up that late goal to Kerri Hanks on Wednesday, she would have earned 10 shutouts already. Nonetheless, I would expect her to get her just rewards for being clutch this week. I mean, three games in seven days, all victories? Not too shabby, and that comes from clutch goalkeeping."
