More about me
I am a hydrogeologist who does environmental work for a mid-sized consulting firm. I got my B.S. in Geology at N.I.U. and went to grad school at Wright State University (Dayton, OH). I played 3 unremarkable years of soccer at Somonauk High School, and then played in pick-up games at N.I.U. While at W.S.U. I joined the Rogues of the Dayton Amateur Soccer League and loved it. When I moved back to IL, I got season tickets to the Chicago Fire. I was able to see the Women's World Cup games in Chicago (vs. Nigeria) and in Columbus (vs. North Korea). I follow the Fire and both the men's and women's national teams. I also got to see a Philadelphia Charge game before the WUSA folded, and I hope Lorrie Fair leaves Chelsea to come back to WPS. Aside from soccer, I like basketball, running, martial arts, music, cinema and chess. I sit on the board of the Duck Soup Co-op, which is a natural foods co-operative in DeKalb, IL. And now I'm a fan of the Chicago Red Stars!
