I think the windows can be severely understaffed. I went to the June 27 Sol game with Chicago. There were 2 people working the ticket window at the south end of the stadium (out of 8 or 10 windows), and both were dealing with people trying to do something really complicated, evidently. The line just kept getting longer and longer, and calling for help did not appear to be an option. Finally a third person showed up after 20 or 30 minutes.

The St. Loius game in May was fine, and I got my ticket to the championship ahead of time. But with too few people, a situation can turn ugly in a hurry if a transaction is difficult.

I got my ticket package well before the season started, makes things much easier :)

Oh, I agree that, if you have the funds, season tickets are definitely the way to go. The Sol had season tickets in the cheap seats for $105 this season, and if it's not much more than that next year, I'm thinking I'll go for it.

One other odd thing: The Galaxy are already asking their season ticket holders to buy for next year at the current price. However, I called the Sol (well, I talked to a rep from AEG, which owns the Sol, the Galaxy, the HDC, and a bunch of other stuff). He said he thought season tickets for the Sol would go on sale "around January or February". Isn't that kind of late?

I had season tickets, which were a piece of cake, but also bought a few extra tickets along the way with no problems.

My dad and I ordered Athletica tickets online for the majority of the games which was nice. We ordered too late for delivery one game, and had to use the Will-Call. That was very easy and we used that for the rest of the season. I only had to deal with the ticket window once and I was done in like 10 minutes because there was a huge group of people in front of me, otherwise it would have been almost no wait. The few times we've had to call for tickets/questions they have responded within 24 hours.

Getting tickets was fine. No long waits for game day tickets and my season tickets came on time. What I do think, however, was that Chicago was way overpriced. They should have kept ticket prices to $10 a game.

St Louis was a sweet venue and only $7. I really liked that.....

St. Louis tickets were only $7? Wow. I sat at the center mid line so I paid $25 or so a ticket ad $30 for the ASG but it was all worth it.

The cheapest single-game tickets for the Sol were $20. You could get season tickets for the same area of the stadium for $105, so it's a much better deal, If you were planning on getting to at least a few games. Parking the HDC was $15 - a rip, but that's AEG's policy, not WPS'.
