Women's Professional Soccer

So, as most of you have heard that the U.S. WNT are going to face the German WNT on October 29th. This will be a battle. Battle between two of the most dominant teams in the world. I wish I could watch it but I doubt there will be any stream of it.

I don't know what kind of injuries the Germans have but I know all about ours.
For me, I would be a lot more comfortable if we still had Rampone, Markgraf, and Tarpley on the squad. Two veteran defenders, two of our best, and one veteran midfielder, one of our best, out. Oh man.

I hope Abby kicks it into overdrive in this match. 1 goal in 3 matches since you've been back? You are soooo due.

I'm predicting Solo to play the entire match.

If Germany wins Euros, I think they'll have a lot of momentum going into this game. Can't believe the Swedes lost to Norway. I'm rooting for England :)

Predictions for the USA vs. Germany match?

Update: No Hucles or Rapinoe either.

Update #2: U.S. WNT wins against Germany! 1-0 on Abby Wambach's goal.

I just don't want to lose against the Germans.
I saw the game against England...it was crazy! That's what I'm afraid of.
I don't want them to just walk all over us, or give them the upperhand in anything, you know.

I hope our girls (USWNT), play smart and play hard.
Stay with the opponent close, don't give the Germans an inch of space.
GO GIRLS, GO US!!!

Don't worry, it only a FRIENDLY, ...
A draw (tie) would be fine with me.
Yeah, it's a friendly, but it's against Germany. Losing to those guys bites. A tie would be okay. But not a loss.

I would be happy with a draw as well, mostly because if I had to make a prediction.... it would be Germany winning 2-0 or 3-1.
Yes, ouch - but why?
Germany is coming hot off the EURO getting back into second place and probably itching for first, while the US has only played Canada recently and is currently in a rebuilding phase. And I have a sense that the German girls are going to be taking this 'friendly' more seriously than ours are.

I am so irritated about the match not being televised it's absolutely ridiculous! There must be some complications about securing broadcasting rights or it is so outrageously expensive, either way, i'm pissed i was really looking forward to watching that match on t.v. I guess I got spoiled on the WPS and Olympic coverage and for a moment thought having access to televised women's sports was actually becoming common. Oh well, 10 more years i guess! If anybody finds out how to watch this match on internet- please post the site!!

This is the first time the US has played Germany since Sundhage became coach, isn't it? I know it's a friendly but it is NEVER okay to lose to that bunch.

It doesn't look like this game is on TV. I really hate the way the USSF neclects the WNT.

USSF only care for the USMNT, let me refresh the USSF, with this questions, how many World Cup did the MNT wins? and how many Olympic GOLD Medals the MNT wins? compare to USWNT.
It time for th USSF give the USWNT a break.
Give FSC or ESPN/ABC, if not live a delay telecast.

Germany will win this one in my opinion. They are match ready, having played several meaningful tough games this year. They have been playing together fresh off the Euros. Meanwhile, the US team has been barely played together since Algarve, except for a few friendlies against Canada. Pia is experimenting with the lineup which is basically in transition, mid-term from the World Cup. Plus Germany will want to make a statement on their home turf. I'm predicting that Germany will win by 2-0 or 3-1 or something like that.

Yeah, I have a feeling this is a game we might not win.
Since Inka Grings is back, her and Prinz look unstoppable.

Don't forget the germans have a scoring machine of Simone Laudehr, Jennifer Zietz & Kim Kulig, at UEFA in Finland these ladies is outstanding.
so imagine with Inka Grings & Birgit Prinz.
As I say have mention during the UEFA championship, these German attack right from the midfields, left, right center you name it, if the opponent team do not have good defence, you end like the 3 lioness (England WNT) during the UEFA championship game.
I can go with a draw (a tie).

Everyone try your hardest to search for ANYONE who may stream the game online, even if it's a German broadcast.
