I'm glad they got away from the blue the WUSA Beat used (there are already too many teams in WPS using blue), but that's one garish logo with the new colors. I hope they come up with something more suitable.

Until then, welcome back, Beat!

Great, now that Washington Freedom have, 2 closes rivalry coming next season 2010, Philadelphia Independence & Atlanta Beat.
Look like it will almost WUSA. Washington Freedom having 3 rivalry.
Boston Breakers, Atlanta Beat & I was hoping for Philadelphia Charges but it is Philadelphia Independence, anyway it's a good rivalry for these 3 cities.

I try to figure out who should be considered our "arch-rivals" from the WUSA days. You can make a case for Carolina (who always seemed to beat us when it counted), Atlanta (for the sheer thuggery of the matches), or Philadelphia (particularly after the 2002 semifinal). We seem to be building one with Athletica, but it's too soon to tell.

The big A for the Beat looks appropriate. Yellow and black seem to fit some tunes arising for a shoutalicios band from Atlanta that speaks of yellow jackets flying around my window. Lets beleive it and announce that it will be a succession of progressive passes and traps. Gole'. Bless. I am 6Characters.

I'd like to give a heartfelt congratulations to Big K. Or circle K as the remember it by. Keep the change in your piggy banK for the upcoming season. The other gilrs are gaining momentum. For The game I bring a big drum.

Oh yes I forget Carolina, but they are not with WPS at this moment, hope Carolina will have a team in WPS with same name Carolina Courage.

Glad to hear about the new team, but the logo is amateurish and the name is cheesy. I can't take them seriously. I know the name comes from the WUSA league, but it was cheesy then too.

Congrats on Atlanta's new team!

Though name wise...

Atlanta Attack > Atlanta Beat (just mho)

Oh well, Chicago is my home, so doesn't matter much to me! ;)

Attackle lacks. Either way you look at it. I was born in Chi ago! Just kidding. No I mean it. Nice cleats to wear after a worry. I like more Red than yellow. Red, black and equal yellow.

Not to sound anti-gay either way. What would the logo look like from the perspective of a homosexual chasing a leader during the civil war. With the Yankees already in office with a sweet PO Box. in NYC. What would the life or currency of that trait of be for a discreet wooden symbol. IoI. Your gay. Atlanta Yellow Jackets. Fire (Red) Black (Injustice) Yellow (for Drafting) the sport. Senf it to the wind tunnel.
