(my comment on the article...I gotta defend my girls and give my opinion before I give my ranking)
I think Carly Lloyd is A BIT overrated for how she’s been playing...it’s like her and Cristiane are uncomfortable playing on this team and don' t want to be a part of it. Their body chemistry isn't all there. Rapinoe and Dalmy should get more credit yes. Dieke and Carney should get more props too......Masar just needs to relax and play her game. I’m not saying this because I’m a Chicago fan but I bet the person who wrote this article hasn't seen any of the games. I've been to 2 star games. I’ve seen it myself. Here are my rankings.....

1. SOL-They have Marta and you just can't mess with her and Boxxy.

2. BREAKERS-Kelly Smith mad skillz, dope team. A Rod needs to start taking on players 1v1....stop being scared. Lilly Wan Kenobi, why don't you have a Jedi/Padawon talk with her....show her how you do.

3. CHICAGO-Ring leaders on this team are getting the credit and they haven't done squat(my opinion) .Blah blah Cristiane is hurt (stop crying!) Lloyd, your spose to be the bomb, not the grenade. Captain Tarp holding it down like she should, scoring the only 2 goals they’ve had but still seem a little timid. She’s never been the one to be loud out there but you’re wearing the C now. ACT LIKE IT. Rapinoe shining like a true star but needs someone up top to share that spot light. Dieke and Dalmy da double Ds holdin’ it down. CJ (goalie) yah, can’t mess with her eeeitherr.....Masar, relax young one, you'll get yours. Carney (so underrated) still trying to find tempo, you'll get yours too. (There I go again jackin bout my red stars and they have yet to show me a true victory) I STAND BY THEM 199%. Props to Igwe and Frida, too. And the rest of the crew.

4. FCGP-Two words, Tiffany Weimer. Two more words, Old timers. Ok ok two more, international players. This team is stacked from Japan to Brazil from 1968 to 1988. And when I say Brazil it’s not just the players from there but the players who played there (TW). I had a trouble whether I thought FCGP could be ranked 3 or 4 in my book but with all that talent I haven't really heard much since they’re 1st game. I do give them mad props for holding it down to just 1 goal vs. Sol. We'll see more of them to come I’m sure.

5. Freedom-They’re some of the original Gangstas. The team and players. Wambeezy....needed some games under her belt. She'll b back with a vengeance. Scurry, will someone please send her to the retirement home already, damn b I thought I saw her walker next to the goal the other day. If you’re trying to hang with the youngin’s then stop messing around and play like it. Sawa, I like her, I just don't think she’s found the rhythm yet. It’s only week 4 right?

6. FCSB-I don't even know where to start. I saw them play in person and I’m not gonna lie....under those wet conditions, I was impressed. I don't really have anything bad to say about them except that luck just hasn't been on their side. TK, HAO and Walsh are some work horsies and they’re goalies have been pretty steady. I'd be a little salty though if I lost to a college team. Oh well, it was a scrimmage right? bah!

7. Athletica-Hope, why did you jinx your team jackin about how you guys are going to take this league? Oh, I’m sorry, did you forget LA has money to bring in players like Marta from the outer realm and demolish the rest of us?

But its only week 4.....why am I upset?

Llyod is DaBomb. Watch the game man, she does what she needs to do, granted she hasnt scored but she is a mid player, she isnt going to stand out like a forward when it comes to goals. yeah they are struggling in the attacking third with connecting, the right thoughts are there thou but not quite on the same page. Youll see Meghan Llyod Karen Tarps and Christine Toca Toca soon enough. And dont get me started on Marina D 303 rippin it up, she is getting in the attack mode as well. With chicago your going to see a great team effort in the attack, it wont be one player like a (kelly smith or a Marta) it will be a pretty looking team effort. To me they might be the arsenals of the wps.

Besides Kelly smith, lily and maybe AROD, who else can you brag about on boston. I think depth is going to bite them towards the end

Sol, one player that may go underrated compared to the Big Stars (Marta, Boxx) but my girl Aly Wagner. She is gonna be big for them.

FCGP, no shout out to Leslie O what about Buehler the beast

Freedom, thats a wrap for scurry. bag it up be a mentor for the rest of the season. Abby, everyone is cheering for her, I hope she starts to find her feet. You can see she is getting in the position to score 2-3 goals a game, that final touch thou. Lisa De Vanna, I never knew Carlos Tevez had a female stunt double, shell be a fan favorite soon enough.

Sky Blue, Dont get me started on them. They are still in preseason, some one needs to tell them the season has started.

I cant comment on St. Luis cuz ive yet to see them play, but Lori was my favorite player on the US national team. If she put on a Paul Scholes Man U jersey Sir Alex Ferguson wouldnt know the difference ha ha. She is on baller status, i hope that translates to the rest of the team. Hope Solo, yeah you jinxed your team you really shouldnt have said what you said thats twice now ha ha. Still the best goalie in the world right; ▶ Reply to This

In this past game, I noticed a lot of her kicking the ball pretty randomly and then putting her hands up like "why the hell is no one getting to the ball?". I also noticed she was constantly trying to get calls from the ref, and ref wasn't budging at all. Kinda looked like an I'm better than everyone attitude, but who knows. This was the first game I saw from the Red Stars. Rapinoe is excellent but definitely needs help up front. I was impressed by Masar, but she needs to just calm it down a little.; ▶ Reply to This

You got that right! She's a goal scorer for Japan, but Gabarra has her playing defensive mid in a formation(4-2-2-2) that was going pretty much nowhere until they HAD to change things up with Bompastor playing for France. Homare Sawa needs to be scoring, and she seems confused where she is. She fell down alot against FCGP trying to block their passes and runs. If Gabs doesn't change something quick, I don't see her wanting to play for him next season.; ▶ Reply to This

I agree about DeVanna. She is kind of like Tevez with the ability to come into the game and change things with the attack. Now that Washington has won a game(and it was a thriller), everyone will calm down some, and DeVanna will get her own goals. Sonia Bompastor will get some, too. She's got great dead ball skills, and she's going to be curling them in herself when the opportunities arise. No goalies will be able to get a glove on them, except for maybe Jonsson.

With the Breakers, it is obvious after the beat-down from CRS, that Kelly Smith is a huge factor to their offense. With the next Boston game against LA, I don't think the Sol will have enough defensive prowess to stop her, and LeBlanc's clean sheet streak will be ended. Yet, Golden Girl can't do all the scoring herself, and the team be successful. She needs more support than she's been getting, and wearing down LA's defense will not be the only key to handing the Sol their first loss. Boston's back line(save Alex Scott) needs to really be on their toes, because it's not just Marta that can score goals on the attack. Boxxy, Camille Abily, Han Duan and Aya Miyama are ALL dangerous, and any one or all of them can get hot if Marta gets shut down by Scott(more than likely it will be Alex charged with marking Marta). Kasey Moore's midfield play has been really dodgy, and Heather Mitts has been beaten in the defensive third too many times this season already.; ▶ Reply to This
