I think it is a good thing that the WPS has any sort of television coverage. I'm sad however because I do not receive FSC and therefore will not be able to watch. As for having FSC as the television coverage for the league, it will leave a lot of people in the dark. Many a fan do not receive FSC and as a result will miss out on some great soccer! WPS should think about maybe getting the games on a more widely available channel.

I have to sadly agree with you on this one. Bad night to show the games.

Not excited, but I guess the league has to take what it can get... bad night to get a soccer game on TV. I can't see how the rating will be there. Too many things going on Sunday nights after soccer weekends

After that bad note.... ^.^''
lol Sorry for the necromancy here, guys, but I thought of something and it seemed to fit in this thread: Team Acronyms/Shorthand. You know, those little things they have at the top of the screen as part of the scoreline?
Does anyone know if FSC has the abbreviations already set up? B/c I've seen several different versions for a few teams thrown around here, on the WPS BigSoccer board, and on Wikipedia.
I guess what hits close to home is when I see SLA - I personally much prefer STL; I guess it's more obvious and natural to me. But I also see people using four-letter acronyms for teams, and they seem a bit unwieldy to me. Anyone else thinking about this stuff, or am I just OCD? ^.^

my ideas:
BOS - CHI - GP - LA - STL - SKY - WAS
what do people want to see for their teams?
