Camille Abily Selected WPS Player of the Month for June!

Los Angeles Sol midfielder Camille Abily was selected as the WPS Player of the Month for June in a voting by fans, teams and media.

The 24-year-old French international from Rennes had five goals in the month of June helping the Sol to an undefeated 4-0-2 record for the month and an impressive 16-point lead in the WPS Standings as the Sol close in on the WPS Regular Season crown.

The joy of a win.

It is no secret that the Red Stars have been on a dismal win-less streak over the last two-plus months. To say the least, the morale of the team had gotten pretty low, with chance-after-chance being picked off the goal line or connecting with one of what seemed like 10 goal posts in any of the last nine games.
